One of the best outreach opportunities of the semester is yet to come–it is the Second Season.

October has long been a good month for outreach. Check calendars and set a strategic date before Halloween..

Create a special program and marketing for a specific date, giving it the same attention and energy that you give your biggest events. Include in the planning a specific way for students to respond. Use response cards and have leadership ready to follow up with students.

Three good response questions are:

Have you decided to follow Jesus and become a disciple of His?
Have you been baptized?
What is the next step in your journey with Jesus?
